During Super Bowl LIX, Disney unveiled a teaser for its upcoming live-action adaptation of “Lilo & Stitch,” set to release on May 23, 2025. The teaser features the mischievous alien Stitch causing chaos on the football field, showcasing his playful and disruptive nature. Notably, the promotional content has focused primarily on the CGI-rendered Stitch, with limited glimpses of the live-action elements, leading to curiosity about the portrayal of other characters and settings.
The film stars newcomer Maia Kealoha as Lilo, with Chris Sanders reprising his role as the voice of Stitch. The cast also includes Sydney Agudong as Nani, Lilo’s older sister, and Zach Galifianakis as Dr. Jumba Jookiba.
